Over the years one resounding truth I have found is that preparation helps in performance.But we are in the quick fix age and we want instant remedies at the blip of time.
We do not want the slow grind of preparation dampen our mood. Yes, sometimes preparation for anything may sound or look monotonous, but if you have a clear cut objective like topping a test or an exam, we have to put the hard yards on a daily basis for better results.
Preparation is a pre-requisite for any successful endeavour. Preparation also involves planning and a plan of action of how one is going to achieve results within a time frame. So, the time factor is very crucial in preparation.
Preparation is always a focussed activity and involves seriousness unlike a leisurely activity. We are expected to do our official/school/college work in a thorough manner. I do some of my household chores in the same manner.
Every activity right from the time we get up , till we sleep should be prepared, planned and executed. I prefer to jot down in my diary on what are the things, I should do for today and at the end of the day, I kind of do a self assessment as to where I have fared.
There are days where I have done better, and there are instances where I have done bad.But, I am happy that there is a definite plan and call for action which is very critical everyday.
I urge all my friends and followers through this post to have a daily action plan or a to – do list so that you are clear in your head on how you are going to spend the day in the right way. Else, our lovely mobile phones/devices will take all our time in a jiffy and we wont even know!!!
